Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What does a Pension Rights Briefing cover?
The briefing covers your current entitlements, any changes that may have affected them recently, and the options available to you — presented in plain language. You receive a written note to keep. It is well suited to those who want a clear picture of their position before deciding whether further steps are needed.
How do I know whether to challenge a pension decision?
The Decision Review service begins with a careful look at the decision you have received. If there are identifiable grounds to respond, we will tell you what they are and how to proceed. If the decision appears sound, we will explain that too. The aim is an honest assessment, not a default push toward further action.
How long does a formal pension appeal take?
Timelines vary depending on the authority involved and the complexity of the matter. Some straightforward appeals are resolved within a few months; others may take longer. At the start of any matter, we provide a realistic outline of what to expect. We keep you informed as the process moves forward.
Will my personal information remain confidential?
Yes. All information you share is treated as strictly confidential under our professional obligations as a registered law firm. Documents are held securely and only accessed by those working on your matter. We do not share personal information with third parties without your agreement.
Do I need to visit your office in person?
Not necessarily. Many clients conduct their initial consultation and subsequent correspondence remotely. If your matter requires document review or a more detailed discussion, we can arrange a meeting at our Ratchadaphisek Road office. We aim to work in whatever way is most convenient for you.
What are your fees, and when are they due?
Fees for each service are fixed and stated in advance: ฿4,300 for the Pension Rights Briefing, ฿9,500 for the Decision Review, and ฿17,100 for End-to-End Appeal Support. For the appeal service, costs are outlined at each stage before work proceeds. There are no hidden additions.
